Automatically open on page load

incandescentman
I didn't quite follow this: http://www.nabble.com/Automatically-open-on-page-load-td15702704.html#a15706526

I'm using Wordpress 2.5 and Shadowbox, and I need Shadowbox to pop up a new shadowbox automatically.

This is what I have on that blog page right now.

<script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ Shadowbox.init(); Shadowbox.open( ... ); }); </script>
(followed by A HREF= rel="shadowbox" etc etc. )

The auto popup isn't working. What must I change?

Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I'm still not succeeding in getting it to work.

Here's what I have on my Wordpress page, in HTML, right now:

<script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ Shadowbox.init({ skipSetup: true // skip the automatic setup }); Shadowbox.open( ... ); }); </script>

...

But it's still not popping up automatically.

The page is here:

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

what's that Shadowbox.open( ... ); ???

it should be something like that:

    // open a welcome message
    Shadowbox.open({
        title:      'Welcome',
        type:       'html',
        content:    'Welcome to my website!',
        height:     350,
        width:      350
    });
