Gallery images load in reverse order

jimbarg
I just got finished setting up a Shadowbox gallery on a website that I'm designing for a client. For some reason, the images in the gallery display in reverse order (pages 12 through 1) from the way they're entered into my page code (pages 1 through 12). I had this problem with Lightbox2 as well, was unable to get tech support on their forum, so I switched over to Shadowbox in the hope that someone here will be available to help. I am having the same problem with Shadowbox (also, if I use "skip" in counterType, the page numbers show up in all sorts of strange ways). Can anyone here help me? The page I'm trying to fix is at www.votesos.org/Vote_sos/new_site/inthenews1.html. This URL takes you to a staging area, so enter the username mikef and the password agraus. Click on the thumbnail of the newsletter to activate the Shadowbox. I have tried reversing the order of the images in the gallery but the navigation buttons don't make sense on the first and last pages if I do that. How can I get the images to display in the proper order (p1-p12)?

the image the viewer clicks on is surrounded with the a tag for the last image you added... so when clicking on that image Shadowbox assumes you want to view the last one.

just make the first picture to be the visible clickable one!

Re: Gallery images load in reverse order

Hi,
I'm getting my gallery images to load in reverse order as well.  How can I have just one image visible, but have there be multiple images for that slideshow?  In the example below I used 7 images. Do I just put them somewhere totally separate in the code...like at the very bottom?

Here is my code:

<td class="prjMoreImj">
              <!--Image Sources-->
              <a href="images/projects/MySlideshow1/Vacation_1.jpg" rel="shadowbox[MySlideshow1]">
              <a href="images/projects/MySlideshow1/Vacation_2.jpg" rel="shadowbox[MySlideshow1]">
              <a href="images/projects/MySlideshow1/Vacation_3.jpg" rel="shadowbox[MySlideshow1]">
              <a href="images/projects/MySlideshow1/Vacation_4.jpg" rel="shadowbox[MySlideshow1]">
              <a href="images/projects/MySlideshow1/Vacation_5.jpg" rel="shadowbox[MySlideshow1]">
              <a href="images/projects/MySlideshow1/Vacation_6.jpg" rel="shadowbox[MySlideshow1]">
              <a href="images/projects/MySlideshow1/Vacation_7.jpg" rel="shadowbox[MySlideshow1]">
              <!-- END Image Sources-->
              <img src="images/trips_vacationImages.jpg" width="155" height="27" alt="More Images" /></td>

Where do I put the closing </ a>?
Right now, my gallery loads but the first picture is Vacation_7.jpg and I have to click through the show backwards.  I've tried numerous things but haven't been able to figure this out.  It's driving me nuts and I feel dumb!
Any assistance is greatly appreciated, thanks!
