Using Shadowbox with Mootools

rufus00
Hi,

I am very new to Shadowbox and with mootools..

I have a mootools based page that has a 'kwicks' menu and some images on the page I want to 'shadowbox'.

(Just realised you cannot put proper code in here so...)
My code is :
<head>
        <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>

        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/scripts/mootools.svn.js"></script>        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/scripts/mootools.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/scripts/lib/yui-utilities.js"></script>        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/scripts/adapter/shadowbox-mootools.js"></script>        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/scripts/shadowbox.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/scripts/site.js"></script>        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/scripts/HistoryManager.js"></script>
        <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="assets/styles/header.css" />
        <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="assets/styles/style.css" />
        <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="assets/styles/shadowbox.css" />
        <link rel="shortcut icon" href="/icon.png" type="image/x-icon" />
</head>

Images are coded as:
<a rel="shadowbox;width=760;height=530" ...
---------------------------

When I click on the image or SWF file it just loads it into the page, but not in the shadowbox way.

Can anyone help me please?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Rufus

This might seem like a stupid question, but have you run Shadowbox.init(); ?
Combine literacy with curiosity and a whole world of information opens up to you

Hi,

Thanks for replying.

I had :
        <script type="text/javascript"> window.addEvent('domready', function(){ var myMenu = new pageMenu($$('#kwick .kwick'),{openWidth:240, onClick:openPage}); Shadowbox.init(); }); window.onload = function(){ Shadowbox.init(); }; </script>
I think I have solved it --- I was using shadowbox-light.css and switched to shadowbox.css and it seems to work...

Thanks again for coming back to me though.
